Dead Space for Nintendo Wii Confirmed!

Dead Space for Nintendo Wii Confirmed!

Following the success of Dead Space back in 2008, a Wii version has been confirmed for a release this year.
Titled ‘Dead Space Extraction’, the game is set to be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii and will be a prequel to the series. Apparently, the game will fill in the events that lead to Isaac Clarke’s mission on the Ishimura in the first Dead Space.

It’s said that the game will feature an entirely new cast of characters, new weapons, enemies and a co-operative multiplayer mode exclusive to the Wii. Also, one of the reasons behind the making of the game, seems to be that the developers at EA feel that there is a large portion of Dead Space’s story left untold, and they’ve decided to show us more through the Nintendo Wii’s Dead Space Extraction. As far as it goes, the game is due this year, so those with a Wii – look out for it.

    Sounds pretty cool..

At least EA are creating more unique games for the Wii now.. It should get better as I remember them saying they are going to focus on Wii for a bit..

The HD Wii will definitely change a lot of the games though..
