Sega gets licensing rights for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games

Sega have got their hands on the licensing rights to produce games based on the 2010 Winter Olympics, which will take place in Vancouver, Canada. The official news will soon be available on the official website, which can be found here.

The new licensing agreement means that the rumour of a Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics game will soon be revealed.

Sega’s new licensing agreement will, for the first time ever, feature both Mario and Sonic appear in a game together.
The game will feature two teams, team Mario and team Sonic. Each team will have a set of players which can then compete in the following events, aquatics, archery, athletics, fencing, gymnastics, rowing, shooting and of course, table tennis.
