Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Plot Summary and Screens!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is beginning to look more and more impressive every time something new is revealed about it. It’s definitely one of the dream games for the PlayStation 3, and even though we’re only going to get it in December (this release date is without delays), the anticipation for it is already so huge.
Uncharted 2 follows Nathan Drake, the protagonist from the first game, as he investigates the mystery surrounding the 13th century explorer, Marco Polo, and the ships that he supposedly lost while returning to Italy.
Drake isn’t alone on his quest as he will be accompanied by Chloe Frazer, who is a new character in the game.
It was revealed that this time around Nathan Drake is hunting the ‘Cintamani Stone’, a crystal which is said to grant one wish to the holder, but it soon becomes apparent that he isn’t the only one trying to get his hands on it. I guess this is where the “the hunter becomes the hunted” aspect in the story kicks in.
The game’s release is a long time away and it goes without saying that it’s going to be beyond impossible to keep our wallets in check this coming December.

    the images are mind blowing and the wallet comment was correct because god of war 3 is coming out in the same month but i got 1 question who’s that random person in image 1 & 4 because that’s the ugliest woman I’ve seen in my life

    Hahahah that’s not a woman you douche, that’s a guy. Some cowboy dude you probably meet up with during the game.
    There is a woman in the game, a partner of sorts to Drake. Her name is Chloe Frazer. I’m editting the post now to add screenshots with her in.

    lol it could be if you look at it that way.
    There has been no mention of Elena or Sully making an appearance in this game, so these guys could be fully new main characters.

    Also, it was said that in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, you’re going to see a ‘darker’ side to Nathan Drake, which sounds quite interesting :P

    yeah i heard bout the darker side of nate and i think it’s not such a great move to exclude sully and elena who we got to know in drake’s fortune but it’s not my decision to make. I agree with you uchiha itachi naughty dog has set a higher standard in ps3 graphics it seems.

    About Sully and Elena, yeah it is a pity that they’re removing them from the game, but if they put them back in they’re going to have to create another story behind them – and there’s also that of variety, the new characters could turn out to be very interesting :)
    That said, I did like Uncharted’s characters quite a bit, and it might be a bad sad to see them not in the sequel.

    I’m interested in how Nathan’s Dark side will play out, seeing that he’s such a happy, sarcastic and ‘joker’ kind of guy.

    December is so far away…and when it comes I don’t know how I’m going to restrain myself from all the games coming out :P
