As promised… The latest news on our tournament!

We’ve had our Rectron meeting, and they are interested in sponsoring the tournament.. (Notice the sexy logo on the side). We’ve sent our wishlist in, and we should hopefully get various prizes for the tournament.

So lets get into the details:

Games will be played every Tuesday.
Games must start between 20:30 and 21:00. – This time allows for people who do things after work/school etc to relax and get into it.
Games will be five vs five. DUH!

The first game will have the users vote for who plays.

How it works:

The first two teams will face off, the winner will become the King.
After this we will have a voting structure where the players and public will be able to vote the next team to challenge the Kings.
Once the next challengers have been chosen, they will then play the Kings. If the Kings win, they receive 1 point, if they lose, the new team is awarded the title as King.
If a team loses they will have to sit the next week out. Regardless if you were King or not.
You will only receive a point if you win as the King.

Point System:

Using a point system will allow us to give out prizes. You will get prizes for how ever many points you have, either at the end of a 6 month period OR when ever you cash out.

The maximum points you can reach is 10.

You need to win as King to gain points. If you lose, you still keep your points.

Prizes:

Prize Structure starts at 3 points. You will be able to cash out prizes at the end of every month. If you miss the end of the month, you will have to wait until the end of the next month. You can let us know at anytime that you would

like to cash out, but you will only receive prizes at the end of the month.

Shipping:

You can collect prizes, if you’re in Cape Town that is, OR,
Shipping of prizes will be done at your expense. We will send it, but when you receive it you will probably be required to pay for it.

Alcardu will be fine tuning the tournament, if you would like to cash out your prizes he’s the man to speak to.
Any questions or queries about the tournament should go to Blink or Alcardu. They will be in communication about various things concerning the tournament.
Bob will host the game, and write a short article about this. He will be online every Tuesday at 8:30 with a game hosted.
MoRTaL and FluKe will run the team registrations. When you sign up they will add you to the list. If you have a problem with the time, you should notify these two admins in due time so that they can tell the host.

Rules:

You will be required to add a reserve to the list of team mates. Only the top 5 players which have played the most will receive prizes.
