FFXIII Gameplay Trailers

Three more trailers have just been released for Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. All three are gameplay videos showing off some of the combat, team battles and boss fights. They’re bound to get your excitement levels up, but unfortunately there is nothing new for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Final Fantasy XIII will be released in December of this year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 while Versus XIII will remain a PS3 exclusive. Do not worry, Sqaure Enix have said that FFXIII is still being primarily developed for the PS3 and will be made to “the very best of the PS3′s abilities” thereafter porting it over to the Xbox360 and optimising it for that hardware. So basically, the PS3 version will be completed first, and then the Xbox360 port will be worked out from there. This means that there will be no downscaling for the PS3 version at all, so to all Final Fantasy fans out there: you’ll still get your top notch game as well as get to keep Versus XIII as an exclusive PS3 title.
