Tekken 6 coming to PSP

Tekken 6 is already on its way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox360, but recently Namco Bandai have announced that the much anticipated fighter will also be making an appearance on the PlayStation Portable. There aren’t a lot of details on this topic at this current point in time, but it was said that the PSP version will be released alongside the console versions. Other than this, there was mention that it will contain additional stages, content, items and an ad-hoc multiplayer mode. There is no word on an online mode, but it seems apparent that the PSP version will have the familiar “Ghost” Infrastructure mode from Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection instead, where a player can upload his or her character data as well as download others’ in order to learn and reflect on how others around the world fight.

So far, this is extremely exciting news, because Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection was a fantastic success on PSP. One can only hope that this sequel is even better.
