Warner Bros announce LEGO Rockband
Today, Warner Bros. Interactive have announced LEGO Rockband to be in the making, currently being worked on by TT Games, Harmonix and MTV Games. Unlike previous LEGO titles, this one is aimed at the whole family for some musical fun, taking and combining elements from the LEGO and Rock Band Series’ to create a unique experience. LEGO Rockband will support both the Rockband as well as the other music game(s) controllers. The game will be released on Xbox360, PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii later in this year. A Nintendo DS version of the game has also been revealed to be in development by Backbone Entertainment.
Some of the songs to be featured in the game include:
- Blur: “Song 2″
- Carl Douglas: “Kung Fu Fighting”
- Europe: “The Final Countdown”
- Good Charlotte: “Boys and Girls”
- Pink: “So What”
“Players will become rockers as they embark on a journey to stardom that the whole family can enjoy as they work their way through local venues, stadiums and fantasy locations on Earth and beyond, that mimic the imaginative settings that the LEGO world offers.”
