Aliens VS Predator Next-Gen Details and First Screens
Aliens VS Predator. How long has it been since we last heard those three words said together? I’m not referring to the weak movies, no, but actually the Aliens VS Predator that the games industry brought us. Yes, it seems that SEGA and Rebellion have teamed up and have plans to deliver a next-gen AVP title. They, SEGA and Rebellion, are currently all “secret squirrel” on the title, but I guess that’s because it’s still relatively early in the game’s development. However, we’ve been told that players will be able to take control of all three races in the AVP universe, meaning you’ll get to play as a marine, alien or predator depending on your choice. As expected each race will have their own unique gameplay strategies as well as their advantages and disadvantages, but the details are still scarce right now on some of the main features.
SEGA and Rebellion have released three game screenshots as well as a debut teaser trailer so, to all those interested, you can view the screens and trailer below. If the final game looks like the screens below, we’re in for a real treat I’d say. I know, I know, these days hardly anything in terms of graphics can surprise anymore, but still, it somehow always manages to impress and that can’t be taken away. Aliens VS Predator will be released in early 2010 on PC, PS3 and Xbox360. More details will hopefully be available in the near future.
