Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising announced for PSP

It seems like Sony spoke the truth, and this just might be the PSP’s greatest year. It’s newest revealed title, Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising is an all-new Naruto action game for the PlayStation Portable. The game will feature over 10 ninjas (including Akatsuki), new gameplay modes, jutsus and fighting techniques and the events of the Shipuuden story surrounding the Gaara Retrieval Arc.

The game will offer a number of exciting gameplay modes including a two player co-op mode and competitive versus. The modes and hilights include:

  • Story Mode: Takes players through the Shippuden story arc, where Naruto sets out on his mission to defeat the Akatsuki and find Gaara.
  • Scenario Mode: Here players will be able to increase their character’s abilities by undertaking various sidequests.
  • Akatsuki Mode: Allows players to actually take on the role of a member of Akatsuki.
  • Versus Mode: Battle it out with a group of friends or in co-op mode via ad-hoc play.
  • Fight alongside two support characters and combine your attacks in order to dish out ultimate combos.
  • Use trademark jutsus, fighting techniques and annihilate your enemies using Hypermode.
  • Fight it out in “3D anime inspired environments”

Naruto Shippuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising will be released in the third quarter of this year on PlayStation Portable.

wht do u mean third quater of this year? wht mothn is it tho?

  • Tody

Hey Daisy. Sorry for taking such a long time to get back to you.

Third quarter of the year would mean anything between July-September.

First quarter – January, Feb, March
Second quarter – April, May, June
Third quarter – July, August, September
Fourth quarter – October, November, December

That’s the basic structure of it :D Although sometimes they refer to September as being included in the fourth quarter. When quarters are used, generally there is no fixed release date, just an expected time for a game to be released.
