Volvo Release Their Own Racing Game Available For Download

There are not many things which are better than ‘free’. This is certainly the case with Volvo’s new game, Volvo – The Game, for PC.

So this is a new racing simulation game by the Swedish automaker which allows free download and free play, forever. The game is only around 500 megabytes big and those of you with enough cap left should really give it a bash. It’s pretty great.

The racing game is there to promote their new, and old cars, but mainly their S60 Concept which they are trying to push forward.

Volvo’s new racing game was created SimBin which is quite well known for racing games, and they have done an outstanding job for a free game at 500mb big.

The Game has two tracks, Gothenburg and Chayaka, which are very detailed and fun to play. The tracks allow for some good high speed cornering, accidents and of course drifting.

On the cars you will find various real-life ‘ambience’ sounds such as squeaky brakes, rattling, gearbox noise and the favourite, exhaust flames.

You will have the choice of a range of Volvo cars, and yes, it’s only Volvo cars… Volvo – The Game, remember?

Despite the game being free, we still do have the right to comment on the downsides of the game, which is pretty much long load screens due to many splash screens, as well as no damage and no mechanical tweaking available.

Overall, a 500 megabyte down and free equals WIN.
