Uncharted Movie in the works

Columbia Pictures are in the process of working on a film adaption of Naughty Dog’s highly successful, PS3 Exclusive title, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The movie will be written by Kyle Ward, the man who is currently also working on the Kane & Lynch and Hitman 2 movies. Unfortunately this is all we know about it at this point, but whether this comes as good or bad news is up to you. I’ve seen more than enough game-to-movie adaptions (and vice versa) that have completely fallen flat. Personally I have no expectations or hopes for this one, but I doubt that’s going to stop me watching it anyway. At least it promotes the Uncharted series further and will most definitely succeed in getting fans excited for the movie. We’ll have more on this when it becomes available.
