LucasArts reveals Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

LucasArts have announced that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is making its return this year with the “Ultimate Sith Edition” game bundle. Many of us know that The Force Unleashed wasn’t the ultimate Star Wars title as it was made out to be, but the good news here is that the Ultimate Sith Edition will see a release on PC this time, alongside the PS3 and Xbox360 versions. The Ultimate Sith Edition is an exciting bundle that includes the original game, all existing downloadable content packs (which includes the Jedi Temple mission and and extra player skins) as well as two all-new missions to engage in.

The first of the new missions will see StarKiller (Darth Vader’s apprentice) duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi on the planet Tatooine, where you’ll also be visiting Jabba the Hutt’s palace. The second mission takes place on the planet Hoth and opens up an alternate story arc in the game where The Apprentice kills his master, Darth Vader, and takes his place at the Emperor’s side. In this mission players will have to fight it out with the young Luke Skywalker himself.

The Hoth mission will be exclusive to the Ultimate Sith Edition, while the Tatooine one will be available to buy as DLC, off of PSN and Xbox LIVE, for the original PS3 and Xbox360 versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition will be released in the fourth quarter of this year on PC, PS3 and Xbox360. So I say to all PC gamers who wanted to, but never had the chance to play Star Wars: The Force Unleashed – you have a great opportunity right here.
