Star Ocean: The Last Hope heading internationally to PS3

Star Ocean: The Last Hope, a former Xbox360 exclusive, sci-fi RPG, released quite a while back, will be heading to the PlayStation 3 this year. Titled Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, Square Enix announced that the game will be released on the 9th of February 2010 in North America. The game not only feature both English and Japanese voice tracks, but will also include German, French, and Spanish (possibly others), which gives us an indication of how “international” this game is going to be. Star Ocean: The Last Hope International will contain new characters, a revamped combat system, improved menus and the game will apparently will feature “amazing graphics through Blu-ray Disc” too.

Personally, I’ve never had the opportunity to play Star Ocean: The Last Hope on the Xbox360, but I’m quite excited to this news because, hey, the PlayStation 3 could always use more J-RPGs. We don’t have details regarding a Europe or South African release date, as we’re not entirely sure at this point if it will arrive here, but when we find out we’ll let you know. As it stands, if you’re interested in this title, you might have to look into importing it.
