Valve already planning more Left 4 Dead DLC after Crash Course
According to some leaders of some Left 4 Dead 2 boycott (don’t ask me), who were able to pay Valve a visit, there’s more downloadable content incoming for the original Left 4 Dead – that is, DLC coming after the newly announced “Crash Course” episode, of course. Left 4 Dead fan, Walking_Target, reports that Valve are currently planning some DLC for the original Left 4 Dead, but, in all vagueness, he wouldn’t reveal exactly what it is. However he did supply a hint, that it could be “a new Special Infected, a new Campaign or new Weapon(s).” He also says that “It’s definitely one of the three, perhaps more,” which is definitely good news for Left 4 Dead players.
Walking_Target also said that Valve plan to look into some issues that upset Left 4 Dead, such as stacking and corner camping. Who knows, this new DLC might even change the way Left 4 Dead is played or even add a whole new dynamic to the game. Either way, details are scarce so we’re going to have to wait to find out exactly what this DLC pack contains. However I don’t think you’re going to have to wait long, because since Crash Course is planned to release this month, September, and the sequel, Left 4 Dead 2 in November it’s quite surprising to think that they, Valve, would still manage to release DLC for the first game in that time window. I can’t confirm that this news is 100% accurate, but hey, Valve might just surprise Left 4 Dead players. When news of this DLC surfaces, we’ll let you know.
