Aion, the new MMORPG From NC Soft — A decent WoW rival?

NC Soft, the South Korean game company, has pretty much released Aion. This game has built up much anticipation after the South Korean company released Lineage I and II.

Aion will feature the latest technology, along with new graphics and gameplay which allows for one of the best roll playing games that one could feast their eyes upon. The new game will have four primary classes, and then eight specialized classes.

Players will start the game by choosing one of the four primary classes: Warrior, Mage, Scout, or Priest. After they reach level 10, players will then be able to choose from two specialized classes associated with that base class. This little feature allows players to get a feel for the play style of the class before making their final decision. Each faction will have a slight variation in class skills.

Aion is similar to WoW, but some would say that it is way better. However, only time will tell.

O! Yes, we forgot to mention, it IS indeed an online multiplayer game. Aion is based on a story line, but it still promises to be a great RPG game.

The game is priced at $69.99, which works out to around R530 with today’s exchange rate.
