The first EA Sports MMA Screen Shot — UFC Undisputed’s sweaty rival
EA Games has released the first screen shot of their up and coming EA Sports MMA game. The new MMA title will rival THQ’s UFC 2009: Undisputed when it goes on sale.
The screen shot shows two sweaty fighters battling it out in the cage, where one fighter has the other in an armbar. The game expressions are really real and the graphics are simply amazing.
Although this image doesn’t reveal much about the game, it does show that EA are working on something extra ordinary in an attempt to top the best selling UFC game. The main question revolving around this game is, will graphics be enough to lure buyers away from the original UFC game?
While the UFC is the most prestige MMA company, they were however turned down by EA Games when they pitched the idea. EA said that they were not interested in the sport. After the UFC contacted THQ (EA rivals), the company landed up with a best selling game which top charts for weeks. EA Games then decided to create their very own version called, EA Sports MMA.
Fighters for the EA Sports MMA game include:
Randy “The Natural” Couture
Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko
Gegard “The Dreamcatcher” Mousasi
Renato “Babalu” Sobral
Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal
Jason “Mayhem” Miller
Just for your enjoyment we’ve included a video of Mayhem and King Mo visiting the EA Sports’ studio.
