eGamer site updates – Monday: 9 November 2009

Hey guys! This article serves to inform you of the latest updates to the eGamer website, so that you’re fully aware of all the new features and additions to the site. Right, so firstly, and most awesomely, you’ll have noticed that an array of smilies generating over nine thousand smiley power per second have appeared above the comment box down below, so feel free to use them as you see fit. Next on the list, we have increased the amount of feature articles displayed on the home page from three to six, so naturally now you’ll be able to see more important news up top. Thirdly, you will see underneath each article, posted by one of our writers, one of these, for example: “Send an email to Tody, the author of this post.” That’s right, don’t hesitate to send us an email if you have any questions about something we wrote or generally anything gaming related. Finally, underneath the email line, you will now see a small list of words called “tags”, which are basically words that group together articles and games. From now on, for example, any future articles regarding, say, Gran Turismo 5 for instance will all have similar tags attached, so that if you were to click the tag link at the end of a Gran Turismo article, you will see all articles written that have something to do with GT.

Additionally, you will have noticed that you are still able to make comments on articles when you are not logged onto the eGamer website or don’t own an account, but be advised that comments made in this fashion will probably take a while to display since they first have to be approved by an editor on the website. So, this means that it’s far better to have an account and be logged in when commenting so that your thoughts can be put onto eGamer instantly.

That wraps up all the new updates to the eGamer website. We hope you enjoy some of the new features and continue to support Twilight Gaming and eGamer respectively so that we can grow this community even further. Thanks – and happy gaming. :D

A magazine hey? Print media isn’t the best when it comes to gaming – local blog all the way! Anyway, we don’t know for certain what the future holds, but right now it’s looking bright and shiny ;-)
