eGamer Give Away — It’s Over, It’s Over! That’s Right, The CoD MW2 Winner Is…

It’s been a good week with loads of entries to our first eGamer Reader Give Away.

The first prize we’re giving away on the site is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for PC and it was sponsored by the wonderful BuyComputers.co.za

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 currently holds the record for the most pre-order game, ever. It also holds the record for the most amount of money ever made, during a five-day period, in the entertainment industry.

So, last Friday we asked, “How much did it cost to produce CoD: Mw2? Please answer the question in USD ($)”

The answer was $40 to 50 million USD, however we accepted $40 or $50 million, as well as anything in between there.

We’re now, finally, proud to announce the winner of the competition is a well young lad called Paul. To be honest, we don’t know if he’s a young, or if he’s even a lad, but we’re judging by the name — ‘coz we can!

* How did we choose the winner? Well, we ranked everyone in a document where the first entries were obviously entered first. After we had everyone in a single database, we took the names over to Randomizer where the first name on the new randomized list won.
