Modern WarFAIL 2 For PC: The List Of “Can’t” Goes On…
Infinity Ward seem to know how to break hearts. These guys have already announced news that Modern Warfare 2 won’t support dedicated servers, and now they have said that the game will only be able to support 9-vs-9 player gaming.
There will be an inability to kick players from the rank matches, as well as a lack of console commands.
Modern Warfare 2 PC will not allow players to:
- Choose their own host (if the host drops there will be a lengthy pause to find a new one)
- Lean
- Record Matches
- Block trouble players, hackers or even cheaters
- Use a console to change FOV and other commands
This seems to be one of the most inflexible ever created? How this game survives in South Africa with our telecommunications network… I don’t know.

I guess this just does it in for me. I thoroughly doubt I’ll be buying Modern Warfare 2 at all – perhaps I’ll just get it from a friend. Really, how more rubbish can they make this for PC owners? Ah well, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will remain in my memories as the best in the series.
