Splinter Cell Conviction to feature Co-op
It’s been confirmed that in Ubisoft’s upcoming, new entry in the Splinter Cell series, Splinter Cell: Conviction, there will be a co-op mode. Not only that, but there will also be an entirely “new mode” in the game, but that has yet to be revealed. Computer and Video Games (CVG) states that the latest issue of the PC Zone magazine is responsible for letting this information out. Hopefully, we’ll get to know what Ubisoft have in mind for the multiplayer of Splinter Cell: Conviction, but at least we know that there will be co-op – and this mysterious “new mode” of course. Whether that applies to the multiplayer or single player (or both) is yet to be discovered, but we should know soon enough. Word around is that Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released on Tuesday, 23 February 2010 for PC and Xbox360. I’m guessing, that if this is true, the Europe/South African release date should be a few days later, most likely on Friday the 26th. Either way, we should have more on this story in the near future – and we’ll hopefully get a confirmed release date.
