Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Packs Priced and Detailed

Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Packs Priced and Detailed

Just over two weeks ago, on the 1st of December, this month, we covered the revelation of two downloadable content packs for Assassin’s Creed 2, which are due to arrive in early 2010. Today, we have got details on both, so it’s time to fill you in! The first DLC pack, titled “The Battle of Forli,” will release in January and will cost $4, which is about R30. In The Battle of Forli, you will be tasked with defending the town from the Orsi family and, in this mission, you’ll once again be able to use the famous Flying Machine, which you were unfortunately only able to use in one mission in Assassin’s Creed 2. I guess this DLC pack is also your second chance to unlock the “Fly Swatter” achievement, if you’re into that kind of thing.

In the mission “Bonfire of the Vanities,” Florence is getting the bad news from “mad monk” Savonarola, a bad man who’s idea is to bring Italy back to the medieval era. In this mission you’ll attempt to take him down with the help of Machiavelli and a new move for Ezio – the spring-jump. We’re not sure what that is yet, but we’re probably going to find out soon enough. This second DLC pack will arrive in February, a month after the first, and will be priced at $5, which is roughly R38 for us.

These downloadable content packs will fill in the memory gaps in Ezio’s life, which are the DNA Sequences in the original story of Assassin’s Creed 2 that were “corrupt” when the Animus attempted to access them as part of the main story. Battle of Forli is Sequence 12 while Sequence 13 is the Bonfire of the Vanities. Look out for these DLC packs in January and February.
