Splash Damage’s Brink: Now With a New Release Date
Bethesda’s blog just received an update that confirms that Splash Damage’s new team-based shooter, Brink, will now be released in the Fall of 2010. The following is quoted directly from Bethesda’s blog, which firmly backs up the above statement: “The release date for Brink is, indeed, Fall 2010. That’s when the game will be ready for everyone to play. Hope everyone enjoys the videos we’ll be putting out this week for everyone that didn’t get to see the Brink demo at E3/PAX/QuakeCon/GamesCom/etc.” This news was revealed after a recent video up on G4TV.com, which had Splash Damage’s head guy Paul Wedgwood, touch on the game’s S.M.A.R.T (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain) system. Brink was demoed at the Eurogamer Expo in England very recently, so at least it’s showing a little of itself.
Perhaps this is a team-based online game to look forward to then, hmm? Look out for any updates on this title in the future – it certainly looks interesting at this point.
