Capcom Scrambles To Extinguish A Wii-Related Media Catastrophe

Some dude at Capcom recently screwed up quite nicely after he commented on the Nintendo Wii. Mr Antione Seux said that hardcore gamers had abandoned the Wii and that the future of Capcom would be invested into the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Ouch. Capcom Europe is now trying to one-eighty these comments saying nice things about the Japanese made console, how nice of them!

“Further to comments made in a recent article on French website Gamekult, Capcom would like to confirm its commitment as a multi-platform developer and publisher of interactive software,” states the publisher.

Guess who just lost a few friends on Facebook.. … As if Facebook is important!

Ouch, if that was a mistake on that dude’s part then that is one killer mistake – especially since he said it to the public!

Still, that aside, the Nintendo Wii isn’t really alive right now. They’re going to have to release the Wii HD pretty soon or the console will die out…it’s really falling behind.

It’s not really on the same level as other consoles…

Cool for social play, but serious play.. Not really.

Yup, when the wii first came out every other household I went to had one, but the members of each admit to playing little more than wii sports and one girl tried wii fit for a month.

Besides Super Mario Galaxy there are few good games out for it.

Social play is the only thing its good for I must admit, even more so when you and your friends have a bit to drink ;-)
