Heavy Rain Officially Releasing in February!
Upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive title, Heavy Rain, developed by Quantic Dream, has finally gotten a release date, revealed to us by the Official PlayStation Blog. Heavy Rain will be releasing in North America on Tuesday, the 23rd of February 2010, while us South Africans and the guys in Europe will be getting the game three days later, on Friday the 26th of February 2010. The game is coming out earlier than I expected it would, which is both good and bad. Good for obvious reasons, but bad because it means we’ll be losing money sooner rather than later! This is a must get for me.
I played Quantic Dream’s last game and I am keen for more! The thing is as a player you must expect to watch a movie and live in it. If you looking for action and game play you will be disappointed but if you play it like a movie that you can control then you will be in for a fun time.
The story line is what drives these new genera of half movie half game type games so I guess it’s hard to say if it will be good before getting a synopsis of the plot.
