Splinter Cell: Conviction’s Reason For Delay Is “Polish”
Yesterday we reported that Ubisoft’s upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction received a delay, moving it to an April 2010 release. Now we’ve discovered, due to Ubisoft speaking to Eurogamer, that the reason they delayed the highly anticipated Splinter Cell: Conviction was because it was in need of “a bit more polish”. However, many believe that the delay was due to all of the big-name games releasing in Q1 of 2010. A spokesperson from Ubisoft also added that “The game looks brilliant, but we want it to be awesome.” Nothing was said though on how long this “polishing” would take and no word was given on an official release date.
