Tekken 6 receiving online co-op update

Tekken 6, very soon, will be receiving an interesting update to its online feature that will allow players to fight side by side, cooperatively, in the campaign mode. The Scenario Campaign will allow you and a friend to fight together against various opponents in a number of different stages. Originally, you could only play offline with an AI partner, but once you’ve applied this update you will be able to play online with a friend in the Scenario Campaign. You’ll be able to voice chat with your buddy and keep track of online co-op leaderboards to see how you match up against the rest of the Tekken 6 players. The update also improves Mokujin’s AI – in online versus mode, Mokujin’s fighting style changes with every round.

This update will release on the 18th of January 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 – and it will be completely free to download.
