Damn, we were so close to release here. Ubisoft , in a press released, announced delays for Splinter Cell: Conviction and R.U.S.E., moving both titles over to the company’s next fiscal year. Splinter Cell: Conviction was originally due to release in February, next month, but it seems that the game is now only coming in April of 2010. The press release, which saw the company revise its fiscal year 2009-10 performance estimates download, had the following to say: “The postponed release dates for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™ and R.U.S.E™, which were previously scheduled for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2009-10, and will now be released in fiscal year 2010-11. Splinter Cell Conviction™ is now expected to hit the stores in April 2010.”
The press release had nothing to say about R.U.S.E.’s new release date. Ubisoft’s next fiscal year begins on April 1st, the month which Splinter Cell: Conviction is now due to arrive in.
