Gamers Wanting To Participate In The 2010 MSSA Championships May Now Register
The MSSA’s 2010 online championships is the only official online competition in the country. By official, we have no idea what they mean… Or do we? We’ll, the MSSA can award provincial and national colours to teams which succeed in their respective game.
Therefore, official in the MSSA’s sense means, we can award you with national colours. ‘Nuff said.
Anyway, the qualifications for the comps end on the 29th of March, and no late registrations will be accepted.
Games played include:
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- FIFA’10 (PS3)
- Guitar Hero 5 (Xbox360)
- Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
- Warcraft III: Defense of the Ancients
- CounterStrike 1.6
- Quake LIVE
Wow, would you look at that! DotA. Amazing! National/provincial colours can be awarded for playing DotA, but, prizes through various other tournaments cannot be awarded? Rage cannot support DotA, but the MSSA can?
Online tournaments via the MSSA can support provincial colours, but no other company can sponsor online tournaments? Hmm, strange?
Strange, indeed.
Well, look, I’m not saying the MSSA is good, I’m just saying that they see through the crap behind the ‘DotA-issues’. Other companies simply ignore the game, for what reason? Piracy? Doubt it. More like because the companies with the cash/prizes play CoD/CSS/BF2.
Tell us your thoughts on this..
Oh, and sign up here.. If you’re interested — which we doubt that you will be. We’re not.
