Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Unveiled – Going Multiplatform This Fall!
CyberConnect2 have finally officially announced Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, sequel to the PlayStation 3 exclusive, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, released back in 2008. This time, the game will focus on the Shippuden series, taking place right at the beginning of it, and will be released not only on PlayStation 3, but on the Xbox360 as well. Personally, I’m really excited for this title, and have been waiting for this announcement for quite some time now. Even though Ultimate Ninja Storm was quite a shallow game, it featured drop-dead amazing anime-style graphics and awesomely fun and flowing gameplay. It really was a fantastic representation of the anime and a great game on the PS3, it’s just that it lacked depth, content, characters and moves.
Now, CyberConnect2 and Namco Bandai are teaming up, to deliver Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and are planning to release it this fall, which is around October for us. The game promises a comprehensive character lineup, new features and game enhancements. Check out the debut trailer below, which is really awesome looking! Oh, and there is a surprise at the end, with Sasuke wearing the clothes of the Akatsuki clan, which is most likely some story twist or a special alternate costume.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 this fall.
