Question of the Night: What was your worst performance in a game?

We’ve just gotten passed Monday, and it wasn’t too bad. Until we realised that we still have four more days to go that is. Well, since I’m all about positivity, let’s say it’s the beginning of a new week which means more news! Since we slacked today, and I am nocturnal by nature, you would have noticed that there was no Question of the Day. That’s why you’re seeing Question of the Night, which is the cool version, because it’s at night and all.

Tonight’s question is the following: What was your worst performance in a game? It can be any game, both online and offline. It could be your worst performance in a DotA game (you can supply your score or experience – or both), Counter Strike Source or even Tetris, as long as it’s a game.

My worst experience was most probably in a Battlefield 2 game many years ago. I was playing the Special Ops class, dedicating an entire game (in the map “Road to Jalalabad”) to car bombing. For those who don’t know, car bombing is taking a really fast little car, loading it with C4, and driving it into stuff like tanks, jumping out and blowing it up. You often die in the process, so it’s kinda a suicide thing. The result was me dying something like 45 times, but it was fun anyway. I did blow my teamie up who got into my C4-loaded car and drove away, the bastard, leaving me standing there with the trigger. Not smart on his part. I got punished for it though, which wasn’t cool.

• Slobber: In a DotA game, this noob got a score of 3-22 with Silencer. And this was the the worst recorded score of his. We’re not too sure of his real worst, because we’re too scared to hear the figures.
• Nitrate: I quote “Once scored 1-19 in this DotA game :p” – We’ll just have to take his word for it, but we’re still suspicious of him and whether he’s telling the truth…or only half of it.
• alcardu: I’m just going to quote this, because I couldn’t really understand what alcardu was trying to tell me. “hmm, ive had, lol, u can confirm this with ‘the brains’. I was 1-14 or so and i missed about 11 kills and this was when iw as active. worst in a competitive game” – Yeah I couldn’t understand it either. He went on to say: “worst ever was when i played tinker around 3am after coming back form town and fell asleep repeatedly in my chair so i just respawned and ran to the lane and eid (I’m sure he meant “die” here). Rinse and repeat. Possibly threw up sometime as well. but cant verify that no more.”
