Aliens VS Predator “Swarm” Map Pack DLC Coming March 18th

Rebellion’s Aliens VS Predator rebirth is getting its first downloadable content pack quite soon. How soon? Well, Sega announced yesterday, quite late, that this downloadable Map Pack, titled “Swarm”, will be releasing on the 18th of March on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox360. It will cost 560 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and $6.99 (R51.50) on PlayStation Network.

“Featuring 4 new maps for different multiplayer modes, previously only available in the Special Editions, this downloadable content will challenge all 3 species for the fight of their existence.”

There are two new Survivor maps, titled Outpost and Hive, and the two new multiplayer maps are known as Docks and Machine. These maps were previously available to those who purchased the special editions of the game at launch. Furthermore, I think it’s a bit overpriced, especially since you’re only really getting 4 maps. Anyway, if you’re eager for expansion on your AvP online experience, lookout for the Swarm Map Pack on the 18th of March.
