GDC 10: And The First Wii Port for PlayStation “Move” Is…
I expected that this would happen, porting of Wii titles to the PlayStation Move and all, but I have to admit I didn’t think it would happen so soon. Warner Bros. confirmed today that The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, originally due for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, will also be coming to the PlayStation 3 “with full support for PlayStation’s upcoming motion controller technology”.
I guess this is the reason why the Wii version of the game was delayed then? TT Fusion, the developers behind the DS version of this game, will now also be working on the PS3 version, in addition to PS2 and PSP versions, which were also announced today. As for the Wii version, development is being done by Headstrong Games.
