GDC 10: EA Announces EA Sports Active 2.0 For Wii & PS3

EA recently announced at the 2010 GDC that it would be releasing a new version of its Sports Active title previously seen on the Wii. The new version comes complete with leg and arm bands with motion sensors attached so you can therefore have a full body workout. Other upgrades include a heart monitor as well as an online hub from which users can track their fitness and share data with others. DLC will include new workouts and exercises.  EA Sports Active 2.0 is due for release in the 3rd quarter of the year with no specific time as yet.
