March 25: Free MAG DLC Content

On the 25th of March, Zipper Interactive will be releasing their first batch of downloadable content for online PlayStation 3 exclusive first person shooter, MAG (Massive Action Game). Titled the “Trooper Gear Pack”, this DLC pack will be completely free to download on PlayStation Network.

The DLC pack will add flashbang grenades to the combat, two new costumes available to all three PMCs, namely “Trooper Dark” and “Trooper Light” and special edition Light Machine Guns for each PMC. Raven’s APEX 100SE, SVER’s RTK-74 Vla, and Valor’s Mk 46 Mod 1 weapons. Furthermore, beginning on March 25th, the day of this DLC pack’s release, there will be a Double XP promotion, which will run until the 28th of March.

Zipper Interactive said that this DLC pack is “just the beginning of our ongoing commitment to MAG.” They went on to reveal some of their plans for the future, in saying: “In the coming months, you can expect to see plenty of other add-ons and goodies that we can’t quite tell you about yet (but know you’ll enjoy).”
