Question Of The Day: Would you be ok with homosexuality in gaming?

Yeah, it’s a different kind of question, but a serious one. Since everything has come out of the closet and homosexuality is promoted practically everywhere – this is very evident in movies and TV series these days – we’re wondering if and when it will reach the gaming industry and start being included in games.

Personally, I don’t want it to. People go on way too much and it becomes irritating and too exposed. But it’s not just my opinion, we’re asking for yours too! Would you be alright with it if games started including homosexual themes in them?

Basically, what do you think on the whole matter?

    Honestly, I have no problem with homosexuality but there is no need for it to be thrown into every little nook and cranny of the entertainment business. Yes, it’s good to know about it and know how to treat homosexuals but if it winds up in games then it’s fast going to degenerate into an LO lesson.

    You can’t say ‘X’ to a gay person because it is offensive, you can’t make gay jokes etc etc. There’s no need for it appear. Somepeople think that including homosexuality in your work makes it more artistic and free-thinking but that’s a lie.
    By putting it in you are being close-minded and stupid because you are saying that it requires special attention. What happened to equality?
    It would just feel very out of place in a game and very unnecesaary.
