The Grid Releases Legends Of Echo — An MMO For Your Phone

Vodacom’s mobile effort known as The Grid has revealed it’s first multiplayer social game for mobile phones. Legends of Echo will allow players to trade, battle and communicate with other South African’s at a single point.

The game is available through The Grid — does anyone use The Grid? — and it will allow players to move around in a virtual world exploring things. And stuff.

It’s been said that all technological advancements, such as buildings, will be replaced by meadows and green grass. Or wheat fields.

Essentially Legends of Echo is an MMO for your cellphone.

The game’s objective is to be the Legend of Echo, and this means battle other players, kill other players and buy the best gear at a flea market.
