Kane & Lynch Movie Unveiled At Cannes Film Festival

Kane & Lynch Movie Unveiled At Cannes Film Festival

For those who don’t know, the Cannes Film Festival is held once a year in the French town of, you guessed it, Cannes. This is generally the place where press events and reveals are held for big name movies. It is therefore quite a surprise to see that there is a movie based on the game Kane & Lynch: Dead Men somewhere in there. The movie was officially announced in March but it has since been confirmed that Bruce Willis is set to play Kane while Lynch will be played by, wait for it… Jamie Foxx.

I’m not sure if Mr Foxx is capable of pulling off the schizophrenic persona of Lynch but we’ll just have to see about that. The script has already been approved and it seems that Lynch’s character has almost been moulded to suit Jamie Foxx. This is what of some of Lynch’s dialogue looks like:

“I don’t think I appreciate your affectionate caress.” after being manhandled by Kane and “Do you have any idea the magnitude of what you’re confabulating about?”

The script makes him sound like a prep school prick rather than a psycho.

Either way, it seems as if it may be ok and certainly better than most game-to-movie conversions. It will definitely be interesting to see how Bruce Willis pulls off Kane considering all his experience playing similar roles.

Lol..probably the only good thing about the game was the premise for the story, and not really the story itself. Well, it was thrilling, but it failed to carry out what it intended. Maybe the movie can do it good, but I’m doubtful.

So…. Lynch is black.. and from the ghetto?

I’m not racist but Lynch can’t be played by a black guy. I mean if u played the game you’d understand it’s just i don’t think Jamie Foxxx could pull off Lynch
