Question Of The Week: Your Gaming Room/Device — Show Your Stuff And Win!

Question Of The Week: Your Gaming Room/Device — Show Your Stuff And Win!

Question of the Day’s successor has arrived. This will be the first question of the week, and we’d like to do something different. It could actually be called Competition of the Week, but that’s boring. We like valuable input — so, Question of the Week it is. Be warned, QOTW will not the same as QOTD, in fact, it will be slightly longer and require slightly more input.

The prize will be eDreams vouchers. That’s right! R200 vouchers every week for your input. To win a voucher you’ll need to comment below with a valid email address so that we can contact you in case you win. If your email is not valid — you won’t win!

With the voucher you’ll be able to purchase things online from eDreams.co.za

This week we want to know: What does your gaming/room or gaming device look like? Include stats if you like!

Snap a photo, and post it in the comments below. Or you can email it here: qotw@egamer. If you decide to email us the photo, we’ll include it into the comments. No problem!

We’ll give away two R200 vouchers this week. Both winners will be chosen from input into this article, so make it worth it! Remember — valid email address or no prize!

To kick this off, here’s mine:

I use my PC monitor for my Xbox. It has HDMI and Sound-Out. The monitor above the Xbox is just a spare and the machine in the corner, on the floor, would be the dialup server. I have two mice and two headsets on my table because I’m currently reviewing Rapier Gaming Gear.

Two monitors: 27″ Samsung P2770H & 23″ Samsung S2333. I have two different Logitech systems for my PC and Xbox.

How about you?

Things You Need To Know:

- This competition is sponsored by eDreams.co.za. They will send out vouchers at the end of the month to minimize admin work. This means if you win next week, you’ll receive it during the last week of the month.
- Our Competition T&C
- If you only own a DS or PSP, post it! Show us what it looks like and what extra’s you own. Who knows, you might win! Everything counts.

Question Of The Week is your chance to get involved. Experience the opinions and thoughts of eGamer readers and staff members. Also, if you have a good Question-Suggestion, email us and we might use it.

quad 2.66, gtx 275, 4gb ram thats all that really counts… ya desk has a lot of crap on it :P

    • http://eGamer.co.za phANT1m

You havent seen my desk when it is full(rather stand), might post a pic for the lol since i cant win.

  • biTshifT

My current setup, including two proper S-IPS graphics displays (A 24″ HP and a 21″ Dell). Wacom tablet on the right, and my Canon 9950F scanner just peaking in on the left.

    • biTshifT

Oh, and the stats, for anyone who vaguely cares:

Core i7 920 CPU, 12GB DDR3 RAM, Asus mainboard, 3x400GB HDDs, ATI Radeon 4870 GFx, Coolermaster chassis and eXtreme power 650 PSU, and of course a DVD Writer.

HP Pro series 24″ and Dell Ultrasharp 21″ S-IPS displays, Logitech Performance MX mouse, Cambridge Soundworks speaker and sub woofer, Logitech USB headset, 320GB portable 2.5″ HDD, Seagate 2TB NAS, Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, Canon 9950F scanner, HP Deskjet 1220C A3 printer, Canon EOS 450D DSLR camera.

It’s primarily a work machine (software engineering and graphics) :D.

    • iLLyRiaN

Ah wheres the 3rd monitor you had?
And I’d expect a better GPU considering the other stats G_G

Remind me where you live so I can rob you?

    • biTshifT

I gave the 24″ Samsung to my mother. TN based LCDs are fine when they are 22″ or smaller, but anything larger and they are horrible :)

It was the best single GPU ATI card when I bought the machine, and it’s still brilliant :D. I’ve yet to play anything that it doesn’t handle at 1920×1200, usually with AA and the setting at maximum, so given that it’s primarily a work machine, I don’t feel any compulsion at all to upgrade it ;).

  • http://www.blastweb.co.za Blings

    I’ll get mine up tomorrow.
