Sonic 4 Delayed!

Sega has announced that Sonic 4 has been delayed from a “summer release” to the latter half of 2010, the reason being due to an “overwhelmingly positive response to Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 from both press and fans around the world.”

Of course, as you’d expect, Sega says that the delay is to make sure that they produce the highest quality product. The extra time will allow them to polish the game up some more and focus more on level design and other technicalities.

So, now you’ll see Sonic 4 in late 2010 on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and WiiWare – and it will also land up on iPhone and iPod Touch via Apple’s App Store.
