Yakuza 3 Intitial Sales In West “Positive”-SEGA

SEGA has announced that the initial Yakuza 3 sales in the west are “positive”

SEGA did not reveal specifics as to the sale figures of the Playstation 3 brawler, but Ruby Eclipse, forum community representative, extends the firm’s gratitude to the fans for giving Yakuza 3 a “solid” start.

“As was mentioned a couple times above, SEGA doesn’t generally release any specific numbers in terms of game sales,” the post reads. “So, while I’m not able to give you any numbers, I can at least still confirm that the initial sales were really positive, and that all of the fans who jumped in to support the franchise in the west did a great job.”

If all goes well and Yakuza 3 sells enough  to compel SEGA installments of the franchise in the west most notably Yakuza 4 and the upcoming PSP title.

So what does this all mean? You might ask.

A: It means if we want to see more Yakuza Games we gotta buy Yakuza 3.
