E3 2010: An XBox Controller For Your PS3?
Say what you will but the PS3 controller is not all that ergonomic and there have been many a time when I thought to myself: “damn, this is a little uncomfortable.” it therefore gives me great pleasure to announce that Power A, the people responsible for the mini Wii controllers, has now brought out its own PS3 controller but with one major twist.
These controllers are like XBox 360 controllers. Everything is exactly as it would be on a real XBox controller, the position of the buttons, shape and everything. There’s also a handy non-slip covering on the grips. Only problem is that the ‘L’ and ‘R’ buttons are almost the same as on any normal PS3 controller and not like the 360′s great triggers.
Furthermore, these new controller are not only wireless (requiring a dongle) but also come with full Sixaxis capabilities. the Jews among you can also downgrade to the wired, non-Sixaxis version. It’s great because I’ve always loved the XBox 360 controller but the problem was that it came with one of those pesky Xbox’s.
Here’s a few images of the new controller as well as several comparative shots, showing the difference between regular PS3 controllers, the Power A version and a 360 controller.
