E3 2010: Street Fighter IV Beats Its Way Onto The 3DS

This comes as quite a surprise but Street Fighter IV will soon be getting a 3DS port that actually looks rather decent. There seems to only be a slight drop in visual quality over the console versions but how it looks while you’re playing has yet to be seen. Just imagine, Hadoukens and Ultras in 3D.

    Just plain NO.

Fighting games DO NOT work well on ANY handheld, EVER. Plus the fact that DS’s dpad is pretty crappy too.

I’m with reV on this one, although admittedly Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection did turn out to be pretty awesome on the PSP  It worked pretty great! So did Tekken 6 I suppose.

But yeah, handhelds are really not for fighting games.

that’s because you don’t really need to do any complicated motions on Tekken, it’s button-tappy juggling game, whilst other fighting games are a lot more strict in terms of motions and timing.

Of course, unless you are a flowchart Ken, no combo/timings required!
