Call Of Duty: Black Ops Box Art Revealed

The box art for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been revealed and it’s quite interesting, but who is the guy on the front? It seems like Treyarch used a shadow-covered face to represent the player, opposed to an actual character in the game.
