Apache: Air Assault Flying Out In November

Apache: Air Assault Flying Out In November

Activision has confirmed that Apache: Air Assault will be releasing on November 9, 2010.

The game is due out on PC, PS3 and Xbox360 and is in development at Gaijin Entertainment, who were responsible for the enjoyable WWII flight combat simulator game IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey. Apache: Air Assault will be the developer’s first attempt at a “helicopter combat simulator.”

The game will feature both air-to-air and air-to-ground battles, in locations ranging “from the jungles of Central America to the mountains of Central Asia”.

Aside from the single-player, you’ll be able to get a friend along for the ride, literally, as he or she (or it) takes the co-pilot seat in over 16 multi-stage missions which feature real-world satellite photography.
