Local Duo Locnville Sing Their Way Onto The PlayStation Network

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has announced a partnership with Locnville, the local duo famous for having the Sun in their Pocket. Andrew and Brian Chaplin contacted PlayStation in an attempt to break into the international market through PlayStation 3 owners.

Andrew said, “We love our music, we love clubbing and we love to party. That is all about being part of a community of like minded mates – which is what we have found on PlayStation – it is where people play games but also where they share their interests and explore new things.”

The partnership will launch this week as SCE is planning to celebrate the end of Gamescom with a gig from Locnville. Sony has said that the show will stream through PlayStation Home for those that cannot make the show.

Furthermore, Locnville will join Lady Gaga and Usher on SingStar — a game which allows fans sing along to their favourite artists actual videos.
