Games In My Pants… (True Story)

What’s sadder than a bunch of grown men caught stealing from a toy store? A bunch of grown men caught stealing from a  toy store with the goods stuffed down their pants.

Four men have been arrested after a game-stealing conquest along the East Cost of the US. Rodney McCreary, Gilberto Matos, Derrella Winfrey and Wilfredo Matos were caught when an off-duty cop noticed them stuffing games down their pants in a Toys ‘R Us in Annapolis. The officer followed the four men to their car and waited for them to leave again before calling in some on-duty back-up. The police found more than just a couple of stolen games in the car…

Instead they found as many as 219 games, along with a road map and, wait for it, a rather extensive list of Toy ‘R Us stores along the entire East Coast. Police are currently investigating which of the stores on the list were and were not robbed while the four men have all been released on $50,000 bail.

These guys had formally decided that they were going to make a living out of stealing from toy stores. Seriously? What happened to the hard-core robbers who hit liquor stores and banks? If I were going to rob a place, I would be a man about it, go to a place where there’s an angry foreigner with a shotgun behind the counter.
