GTA IV As An FPS – Video Inside

A skillful PC modder has transformed Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV into a first person shooter – and this achieved a really interesting and different result. The PC modder put the video up on the internet for us all to see.

The mod itself may be fairly old, but for those who haven’t seen it yet, it’s worth checking out.

Liberty City looks like a very different place from a first person perspective. Honestly, I think it looks a lot more lively and exciting – and of course, it feels much more realistic.

Naturally there would be hiccups in playing Grand Theft Auto IV as an FPS, most notably with driving, but it does definitely look like an interesting direction for Grand Theft Auto to take.
