iPhone iOS 4.1 To Include Apple Game Center

Apple has announced that Game Center will launch on iOS 4.1. From “next week” onwards, iOS4.1 will be available to everyone, and this means that we’ll all be able to benefit from Apple’s Steam-like initiative called Game Center.

Game Center focuses on multiplayer gaming and it goes a lot further than your normal two-player. There will be leaderboards and matchmaking across various games.

iPad owners, you’ll need to wait until November.
