Treyarch Killed The Black Ops Zombies
It was recently hinted at in a retailer’s listing for Call of Duty: Black Ops Hardened Edition that the highly popular zombie mode from CoD: World at War would be making a return in Treyarch’s latest addition to the Call of Duty series.
Sadly however, Treyarch effectively shot down any hopes of the Zombie mode being resurrected at its recent multiplayer reveal event in LA. Speaking to CVG, Treyarch PR guy, Josh Olin, said that what was being showcased at the event was pretty much all there was to see of the multiplayer and that there were only a few “little things” left to reveal.
“This is pretty much it,” Olin told CVG. “There are still some other little things that we haven’t talked about yet but will at a later date, but this is pretty much the whole caboodle.”
Needless to say, if Treyarch was planning to include the Zombie mode, it would have revealed it by now and most certainly not categorised it under “little things”. Of course, it could all be part of a ploy to surprise gamers with the inclusion of the Zombie mode. Who knows?
