What Does Activision Think About Medal Of Honor?
Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops will be releasing around the same time as rival EA’s Medal of Honor so it would be logical to assume that each publisher would consider the other’s game to be a competitor and threat. Ea has already said as much but Activision seems to be a bit cockier about it.
“We respect the competition and we don’t see the competition only coming from Medal of Honor,” he said.
“There will be other very strong titles in the market – Gran Turismo, Assassin’s Creed – all competing for consumers’ money.”
“But we feel that Black Ops is a fantastic game,” he continued.
“So to your question, we have no concern, we are ambitious and confident, but obviously we are looking at the competition and the market globally and not only Medal of Honor.”
So there you have it, Activision is far more concerned with Black ops beating every game than it being threatened by the new MoH. To be honest, Activision doesn’t have much to worry about looking at how good Black Ops appears to be but this new game could just be Medal of Honor’s CoD 4, the one that re-invents the series.
